2. THE BEST HOLIDAYS EVER
My first vacation since the start of the pandemic
The first time I went to Coquimbo was when I was a child. This year, specifically in September, I went to Coquimbo again. My vacation lasted 4 days and we were me, my mother and father. On this vacation we visit La Herradura beach, the Central Market of Coquimbo, its waterfront and we to sail a boat. In Central Market we bought "locos", we cooked and ate them with mayonnaise, it was delicious. I didn't eat "locos" for many years, so it was quite an anecdote.

This was my best vacation because since the pandemic began I had not traveled that far and for so many days. This trip was a respite after so much stress suffered over a long period. I really enjoyed this trip!

Finally, a relevant information of Coquimbo is the origin of its name, which comes from the Quechua Coquimpu ("place of calm waters"). However, when I sailed to boat through the bay, this name did not seem very pertinent to me, because the boat moved so much that I threw up to sea XD

Coquimbo is very nice, it was my favorite beach when I was a child, I hope you can come back and enjoy it as much as you did on that trip.
ResponderEliminarI didn't know about the origin of its name! It's ironic hshsh
ResponderEliminarHello Valentina! Coquimbo reminds me of my childhood. My father is from the fourth region and since I was a child I 've visited this place. When I visit it, I love to walk through the English quarter and visit the market to eat seafood. For me it's the best port in Chile to eat fresh seafood. I hope your next boat experience can be better. Cheers!
ResponderEliminarHi Vale! Coquimbo is a very nice place, I meet it when I was a child.
